NCH Heart, Vascular, and Stroke Institute (HVSI)

Naples, FL

Executing a large-scale hospital expansion with a new multi-story clinical addition, demolition of existing structures, and construction of a new parking garage.

The project involves the expansion of the existing NCH Baker Hospital Downtown Campus to establish a new state-of-the-art Heart, Vascular, and Stroke Institute (HVSI), along with the construction of a new multi-level parking structure. As part of this development, the existing structure currently located on the designated expansion site will be demolished to prepare the area for new construction activities.

Following the demolition, a new five-story HVSI facility will be constructed as an addition to the existing six-story hospital building. This expansion will total approximately 199,000 square feet and will be directly connected to the existing hospital to ensure seamless integration of medical services and patient care.

In conjunction with the HVSI expansion, a new four-level parking structure will be developed to support both the current hospital and the additional demand generated by the expansion. The parking facility will feature a connecting pedestrian bridge spanning 7th Street North, providing direct access to the new HVSI building.

This comprehensive development will enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver advanced cardiac, vascular, and stroke care while improving overall accessibility and patient experience on the Downtown Campus.
