DeAngelis Diamond has partnered with BayCare to transform a former 30,000-square-foot Barnes & Noble retail space into a state-of-the-art Urgent Care and Imaging Center. Designed to deliver advanced diagnostic capabilities within a modern, patient-focused environment, the facility includes a new MRI suite with magnetic shielding, vibration control, and dedicated infrastructure upgrades; a CT scan room with lead-lined partitions, precision power delivery, and high-capacity cooling; and X-ray fluoroscopy and radiography rooms with radiation protection and layouts optimized for safety and workflow efficiency. The project also features significant electrical infrastructure upgrades, including upsizing the existing transformer to 480 volts, to ensure reliable power for advanced imaging equipment and accommodate future growth.
