The project involves the demolition and renovation of a 2-story commercial building. The building was previously used as a Medical Office Building and will be transformed to support the Language and Literacy Academy for Learning. The renovation will include the creation of classrooms, offices, and ancillary spaces necessary for the school and its faculty/staff. Key improvements will feature a new fire line with a sprinkler system and modified HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The total floor area includes 10,500 sq. ft. on the first floor, 11,600 sq. ft. on the second floor, and a 3,280 sq. ft. balcony area on the second floor. The project aims to ensure the building meets the academy’s needs while adhering to all relevant construction and safety standards.
