DeAngelis Diamond Completes Construction of the Inn on Fifth
Naples, FL | January 21, 2013
Construction is complete on the new building that will serve as an extension to The Inn on Fifth in Old Naples. DeAngelis Diamond Construction, in conjunction with Stofft Cooney Architects, completed construction on the 40,000 sq. ft. project in December of 2012. The new three-story building is located directly across Fifth Avenue South from the existing hotel. The first floor is designated for upscale retail shops, while the two upper floors serve as an extension to the hotel. DeAngelis Diamond has another project underway on Fifth Avenue – an interior build-out that is the future home of Chase Bank, scheduled for completion at the end of January 2013.

• Best Print Newsletter—‘DeAngelis Diamond 2012 1st Quarter Newsletter’ (Merit Award)
This Summit Awards program is the only one of its kind in Southwest Florida. The goal of this event is to celebrate success and professionalism within the commercial construction and remodeling industry. Created by the Commercial Contractors Council of the Lee BIA, the Summit Awards provide an opportunity to recognize excellence in this effort. Judging takes place outside of the local area by experienced industry professionals.

Each year, the Business Review selects 40 individuals under 40 years old from the business community. Carefully selected from nominations and original reporting, these individuals represent the best and brightest from Tampa to Naples.

DeAngelis Diamond completes the first collegiate high school in Lee County

A new addition to the Edison State College – Lee Campus was recently completed by DeAngelis Diamond Construction. The Edison Collegiate High School will be the first collegiate high school in Lee County. The new single-story building addition includes a cafeteria, wet and dry laborites, classrooms, a kitchen, meeting rooms, and a paved courtyard. The 23,000 sq. ft building was designed by BSSW Architects, and is pursuing a LEED silver rating from the USGBC.

DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group was recently awarded the Park Royal Psychiatric Hospital, located on the HealthPark campus in Fort Myers, FL. This 76 bed in-patient psychiatric hospital facility will house 4 nursing units, a 19-bed Seniors Transitions Program, a 19-bed Seniors Intervention Program, a 19-bed Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, and a 19-bed Adult Treatment Program. Architecture, Incorporated design the facility. The project is currently in pre construction phase and is slated to begin construction by March, 2011.
