Throughout history, from the pyramids of Egypt to the great cathedrals of Europe, it has always been an honor to create great buildings. The building trades were passed on from generation to generation and the craftsmen who began these auspicious structures often did not live long enough to see their completion.

Whether stone masons or carpenters, architects or engineers such great monuments were not only a testimony to their competency and mastery but also their dedication of purpose and their work as a team.

Some think that this sense of honor has disappeared over the ages. Not so.
